Lotus chief executive officer Dany Bahar was tonight ousted from his job as the boss of Group Lotus. The Nofolk sports car maker's new Malaysian owners, DRB-Hicom, issued a terse statement confirming Bahar's departure. As CAR earlier reported, Bahar had been suspended following an investigation into his expenses.
Citroën has appointed Jean-Arthur Madelaine-Advenier as its new head of interior design. The 34-year-old Frenchman joins the firm from Tesla, where he had a brief stint as lead designer for interiors at the US-company's California studio. Madelaine-Advenier graduated from the RCA in London in 2003, then headed to Mercedes' advanced studio in Italy for a three-year stint as a junior interior designer.
Mercedes-Benz has launched Style, the Stuttgart-based automaker's answer to BMW's DesignworksUSA design consultancy. Mercedes-Benz's Style sub-brand will be charged with designing bespoke luxury goods from aircrafts, to yachts, furniture and more.
